Posthumous letter from Dana Vaill:        

      I would like to talk about the SCSC Scholarship Endowment.  With the money raised at the USC Game Events our SO CA Scholarship needs just under $20,000 to complete the $100,000 endowment requirement.  I strongly believe FSU is a great University.  I also strongly believe in the SO CA Alumni scholarship.  Our scholarship has already assisted many outstanding young men and women to attend our alma mater.  Doing your part is easy . . . make sure your membership in SCSC is current.

Please Consider helping build this endowment      When making your donation to the FSU Foundation, please specify that a portion be for the SO CA Alumni Scholarship.  Otherwise, please enclose a donation to the SO CA Alumni Scholarship with your dues.   SCSC began awarding scholarships in 1991.  At that time, the idea of awarding a scholarship was very unusual for an alumni club.  Since then other FSU alumni clubs have followed our lead.  The SCSC Alumni scholarship has now been endowed. With your help we can offer more or larger scholarships.  Check with your company to see if they match contributions.
